United Way of Hastings: 60 Years of Impact!

Founded in 1964 as the United Fund, United Way of Hastings (UWH) has been at the heart of our community for six decades, helping individuals and families get back on their feet during tough times.

At UWH, we bring the community together to LIVE UNITED, tackling local health and human service challenges by providing essential support and driving long-term solutions.

We create and support programs, partnerships, and initiatives that unite community members, government agencies, businesses, churches, and foundations—all working together to address the root causes of need in the Hastings area.

Our mission at the United Way of Hastings (UWH) is to dedicate ourselves to building partnerships that enhance the lives of individuals in our community.

We achieve this by advancing the common good through focusing on education, health & wellness, financial empowerment and youth development. The pillars are the foundation for a thriving life—access to quality education, financial stability, and good health ensure individuals and families can build a secure future.
