Youth

Youth is an investment priority aligned with our Communities In Schools partnership and our Helping Kids Succeed initiative, aka building webs of support, to improve resilience for youth by addressing the factors that often get in the way of success.

Helping Kids Succeed

Since 2013, UWH’s goal has been to help our community’s young people be “strong, resilient, and connected.” We’ve used our Helping Kids Succeed (HKS) youth development model to equip children and teens to handle the challenges of growing up and overcoming adversity.   And along the way, have found that all of us need a web of support.  Helping Kids Succeed, in reality, is Helping Hastings Succeed.
