United Way of Hastings was established in 1964 as the United Fund. For 60 years, UWH has been the Heart of Hastings as the community’s local nonprofit that helps people get back on their feet during tough times.
UWH brings our whole community together to LIVE UNITED – meeting the challenges related to local health and human services by providing essential services and focusing on long-term solutions.
We work to create and support programs, collaborations, and initiatives that bring together community members, agencies, government, businesses, local churches and foundations with the goal of addressing the root causes of the needs in the Hastings area.
